Registration Instructions for 2024 IEEE Smart World Congress

UIC/ATC/DigitalTwin/Metaverse/PCDS/ScalCom/SWC 2024

You are strongly encouraged to read the following notes before starting the registration process:

1.     Full registration is required for authors with accepted papers (each paper must have at least one author who completes the full registration), and it includes the following:

• Publication of one accepted paper in the proceedings
• A copy of the proceedings (Webpub publication) the accepted paper belongs to
• Access to all conference sessions and workshops/special sessions
• Program brochure and conference goodies
• Lunch, coffee breaks, banquet and reception
• For papers to be published in IEEE CPS proceedings, two extra pages allowed and each extra page costs USD$50 (RMB 360)

 

The Full registration fee is:

The deadline for Full registration is Oct 25, 2024. Please note that if your payment is not received by that date, the paper will be removed from the proceedings. This deadline will be strictly enforced.

Basic registration fee applies when one author has already completed full registration for a paper, and additional authors of the same paper or other attendees wish to participate in the conference in person. The fee includes:

• No conference proceedings
• Access to all main conference and workshops/special sessions
• Lunch, coffee breaks, banquet and reception
• Program brochure and conference goodies if any

The Basic registration fee is: 

      Note: If you plan to attend the conference with your parents, spouse, and children, you must pay the Extra Banquet and Award Ceremony Ticket fee.

2.     For Full registration, in order to qualify for the IEEE member reduced registration fee, the IEEE membership number must be included in the registration form. Similarly, in order to qualify for the student reduced registration fee, proof of current student status (e.g., current Student ID or other proof of current enrollment) must be e-mailed (as an attached scanned image or pdf file) to swc-2024@googlegroups.com. Please use IEEE MEMBERSHIP PROOF+paper ID (e.g., IEEE MEMBERSHIP PROOF+1571244301) as the email subject when sending your message. Please note that both current IEEE membership and student status will be verified.

3.     If you register for the main conference, for example, your paper is UIC-1570955047, please choose the conference name as "UIC", then fill in "1570955047" as the paper ID on the registration form. Any incorrect use will lead to the registration failure. You can find your paper ID from the webpage:

4.     Registration payments can be done via Bank Transfer and PayPal Credit Card, please use the following information:

If you have any difficulty about payment, please don’t hesitate to contact us swc-2024@googlegroups.com for other options.

 

Please include a note on your bank transfer/payment indicating your name, the name of your conference/workshop/special session and your paper ID. (Format: Paper ID + IEEE UIC/ ATC/ DigitalTwin/ Metaverse/ PCDS/ ScalCom/ SWC 2024)

Please note that your local bank may charge you some additional fees in order to process the bank transfer. Therefore, please make sure that the net amount that is transferred to the above account is no less than the required registration fee. After the bank transfer is complete, please send the scanned bank transfer receipt to swc-2024@googlegroups.com by email with the name of your conference/workshop/symposium and your paper ID. We will confirm your payment based on your scanned receipt.

If you really have problems on bank transfer from abroad, please contact us by emailing swc-2024@googlegroups.com for alternative solutions.

5.     We will send the receipt to authors by emails before the conference for Full Registration and Basic Registration.

For authors from China, if you need to issue a receipt, please download the  information registration fee receipt form , fill it out and email it to  hong.yun@ubitech.cn, and we will give you the receipt at the conference site.
